Religious conversion is the only way to marry?

I'm a christian and madly love a Muslim girl from past 5 years. Religion was never discussed nor was an issue until now. The girl has tremendous pressure to get married soon and marry in her own community, also her parents are orthodox. I think you should keep one Jinzo and get rid of the other. Add some trap cards if you do that. Jinzo is really good in the right hands and if you play it at the right time. I will write based on my own experience...I'm greek orthodox and though there have been times I have questioned my religion I have always felt a connection with it...The reason orthodox people don't easily change beliefs is because orthodox families aren't so strict,I've never been forced to attend church or read the bible etc....Parents baptise you in an early age but afterwards it's our own desicion if we wanna follow it...Attending church was never a "duty"....I think we like to think that god isn't only in church but in our hearts and homes...personal prayers are considered the same as attending the church....

Good question. I am raising my children to know God, and hopefully to read the Bible. My oldest does read the Bible on occasion, a children's version. I was raised Atheist and it didn't do me any favours. I believe my life would have been somewhat different if I had known God early on. I believe as parents we should teach them to know God, but not force any other religious ideas on them. It's really a fine line as I fear that too much might push them away but too little and I am doing them a disservice. It is my job to teach them wring from right, what could be more right than God?

Wierd question about boxing stance?

Almost everybody seems to feel more natural with their right foot forward (southpaw) or left handed stance but I know that is just because like nearly everyone that starts out you probably feel more comfortable leading with your right jab 'right foot forward' Any knowledgeable boxing trainer will immediately correct this and get your feet correctly set as an orthodox fighter. It will take some getting used to, it did for myself when I first started boxing over twenty years ago. I can assure you that once you get your feet properly set as you should you will get the hang of it. So many fighters felt like you with the feet and all some even stayed as southpaw 'left handed' but find a good trainer that knows boxing and learn the correct fundamentals of this great and sport that you can be like my self after over 100 amateur boxing matches and 27 professional realize there is always more to learn-Good luck

One of them is my bf of a long time. I am very comfortable with him, I love him a lot, he is the closest to me. He is a very nice guy. I have been exploring the Christian Orthodox faith. I got in contact with the Priest of the Orthodox Church in my town. I went to a service and talked to him after wards for a good hour. He agreed to be my spiritual father and said to email him anytime I needed help or had a question. Well, when I first emailed him he responded once. He responded to the following email. After that email we talked at the church. A few days after that, I asked a question but he never responded. I waited a few days for him to respond, he never did. 5G pipe welding help?

Any one have any advice for vertical up pipe welding? Specifically, I'm using a new machine...there's only "Soft" and "Hard" arc control settings. I'm used to using Lincoln V-350 Pros where you can fine tune the arc force instead of all or nothing. My issue is that I am getting that typical under cutting at the 2 and 5 o'clock, right where the test coupons will be taken from. I'm using a triangle weave, trying to exaggerate me side pauses, but still not seeing any improvement. Also been keeping a steady 10-15 degree up angle and have tried really rolling my wrist in each direction. The roots look great. Hot pass-alright. Fill and cap start looking like crap. Other than "practice, practice, practice", does anyone have any advice. Admittedly, vertical up 6010, whether plate or pipe, has always been my nemesis. I really need to make some improvements quick like. Any help from fellow welders would be much appreciated.

Question about shiva candle being blown out?

My grandmother died on Sunday and the funeral was today. We are of Jewish descent, and though we are not orthodox we still follow some customs. We received a shiva candle to light once we got home. Well, I lit the candle and had it on our mantle above the fireplace, and a few hours later it was blown out, I'm assuming because the ceiling fan got accidentally turned on (it wasn't on when I left and it was on when I came back). Wether Russian, Greek, Antiochian, OCA or something else, it's all Eastern Orthodox. If the priest is Eastern Orthodox, he can serve at any Eastern Orthodox Church, no matter the ethnicity or where it came from. It's Eastern Orthodox just the same. The only difference between the different churches are the style of singing and some have unique traditions (Such as what you include in the traditional Paschal Basket and what they represent). If he was ordained in a Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, the priest is Greek Orthodox, but he can still serve anywhere Eastern Orthodox. In other words, yes, he can be a priest in the Russian Orthodox Church.

Being a Russian Orthodox Christian, one of the beliefs is that we cannot be convicted of our Salvation. That because we experience that one moment where we experience God, does not mean we are saved.And I was just thinking. Many of you probably know the bible better than I do. But God is the judge over which you will be saved and damned. Christian theology states that humans are born sinners who spend their life time trying to become more like Jesus. In other words, we sin a lot, make a lot of mistakes etc. Yet when we compare our judgement of ourselves involving salvation and compare it to that of God's who alone decides our fate, we are correct. To me that comparison is full of Hubris. And me not being convicted of salvation, does not influence my conviction in my belief in God. What are your thoughts?
