Are the rides at alton tower scary?

I guess it depends on how much of an adrenaline junkie you are. I think all those rides are the main attractions, so I'd say they're the scariest ones. Haven't actually been there before. It's too far for me lol. But if you like rides (like I do!), then you'll have a wicked time. :)
