Resident Evil 3:nemesis on psp?

I would like to play again the classic survival horror RE3: Nemesis on my PSP, the problem was is that it is not available in the PSN store Europe, I saw it was only available in the U.S. PSN store dacades ago. was it possible if I will download the game from the U.S. PSN store using my E.U. PSN Account using my PS3 then copy the game unto my psp? can I play the game without any conflicts since I have downloaded the game from the U.S. PSN? someone who have done this before I needed your help since I'm quite new in buying games from outside E.U. PSN region. thanks a lot mates!!!
