Why do you think this is?

I will write based on my own experience...I'm greek orthodox and though there have been times I have questioned my religion I have always felt a connection with it...The reason orthodox people don't easily change beliefs is because orthodox families aren't so strict,I've never been forced to attend church or read the bible etc....Parents baptise you in an early age but afterwards it's our own desicion if we wanna follow it...Attending church was never a "duty"....I think we like to think that god isn't only in church but in our hearts and homes...personal prayers are considered the same as attending the church....
