Religion assignment is due tomorrow and i need help!!!!!! :(?

Ok its almost 10pm and my assignment is due tomorrow... One of my questions is REALLY hard and i can't find any information on it... The question is "describe the formation and history of the devotional practice" ( i chose marriage in the Eastern orthodox church) so how did the practice develop, major changes.... Now the history of the church is easy ( like why did the orthodox church split from the catholic church)... BUT i can't find anything on how marriage developed in the orthodox church and the different rituals of marriage in catholic and orthodox .... I need dates also... PLEASE CAN KNOWONE HELP ME!!!! I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING AND I'M STILL CONFUSED ON THE QUESTION..... I REALLY NEED HELP!! :(
