Scared people that have experienced Air please answer Is Air at Alton Towers scary/painful?

I went to alton towers last year, i went on air and it definitely doesnt hurt. To be honest, if you are going on oblivion then there is nothing to be scared of, i was more scared on oblivion than i was on air. I went on ripsaw too and if you are really scared of things like that dont go on it, it was quite scary :/ But air is very good, but if you dont want to go on, dont be pressured in to going on it, only go on if you really want to :)
