I wish to become Jewish, but I'm Filipino ?

Hi, I am a 30 year old filipina woman, that wishes to become jewish. I would like to go through orthodox because I heard that only an orthodox rabbi and in Israel do they only accept that to be truly jewish. I am afraid that there are very few filipino jews, and on top of that I'd feel so awkwardly alone at the Chabad house or Synagogue being the only filipino in my area. I'm afraid of the racism from jews to me, because many filipinos work as servants in Israel. Should I not care of all the awkward stares I might get and judgement and continue my goal to become jewish, or should I just practice privately?
