Why is it when people made fun of Jesus, they laughs?

But when people made fun of Mohammed, people get killed, threaten, scolds at? Why are the person that muslim worship is so special? If he's that special to Muslims, so does Jesus being special to Christian. Question is: Why are Muslims the most sensitive type of person I've ever seen? Why are they so overprotective of their orthodox belief? But laughs at people's belief (When they made jokes about it)?
